Oh my goodness I haven't been here since May and I don't actually know what I'm doing here now. just killing time while i wait for my show to load i guess. anyway the fact that i'm actually here blogging can only signify one thing: EXAMS ARE OVER!!!
yes, it's still surreal to me! everything i've worked for for the past 2 years is now over! i will never hear all the teachers say stuff like, "you better listen up because this is very impt for olvls". in fact, i will never sit in any of their classes again! i must say, 10yrs in sngs has flown by; i still rmb my first day in school! now, my last day in school is over. which reminds me- the grad night that i knew about since p6 and occasionally talked about with friends over the years is over too (last night). it was really fun and since my show seems to take forever, i'll give a little recap.
so i met my pals (who don't even know this blog exists!) before the party itself and the 5 of us took a maxicab there, stopping at a petrol station 2 minutes into the journey to get drinks despite my suggestion earlier that we get a glass of water before leaving the house-.- naturally, we looked like retards in our getups at the petrol station. speaking of which, i went as a greek god!! hahaha the theme was Broadway but i think going as a greek god constitutes as "putting in effort" >:) haha anw we made further fools of ourselves when the taxi stopped at the entrance of raffles city convention centre and we all screamed at the cab driver not to drop us off there, just because we saw our peers in all their silky, bouncy prom dresses and started to freak out. of course the cab driver paid us no heed and was all, "bye! enjoy yourselves" which is indirect for "get out get out get out" ;)
spent the whole night taking pictures with just about everyone i knew; i even took pictures w people i knew by sight in school. people who i'd never spoke 2 words to! yet everyone was rly gracious about it and gamely complied(: (or perhaps it was because of my great 'greek god' presence hahaha) the food was OK but definitely not worth the ridiculous amount we paid for it. ohoh and i forgot to mention that we had a walk-in on a red carpet!! heehee>:) possibly the only time i'll ever strut down one;) my class got the musical Grease and although i brought my sunglasses (as told to) to my friend's house, i ended up leaving it there because it was just too much of a trouble to lug it along.
had a sleepover at the same friend's house after the party, which, by the way, we left at elevenish, but went home first to get all my 'sleepover stuff' and take a shower. by the time i reached her house again, it was already 12.30am. was feeling so tired from all the hectic events but was forced to stay awake by everyone else and forced to play Old Maid (?!?!) and Taboo (of which i ruled, i might add>:D) . Finally persuaded them to turn off the lights at about 2-3am but everyone lay in bed talking till 4am!!! was really whacked by that time such that the minute there was a moment of silence, i fell asleep.
despite my fatigue, i woke up at 8.30am! was shocked but realised after a moment that i was woken up by a really annoying cuckoo bird outside. since i slept next to the window, it was cooing (although the sound sounds NOTHING like how 'cooing' should sound like) right at my ear. managed to doze off till 10.30am then woke up again to THE SAME COOING NOISE. that damn bird was at it for 2 hours!! or maybe even more! my throat felt like a desert so despite the headache, i forced myself up and dragged myself to the toilet. after that, the rest started to wake up 1 by 1 (reluctantly, i might add) and they just refused to budge and lazed around till 11.30am, before finally agreeing to go for lunch, which we walked in the boiling, humid weather for. had a small plate of chicken rice (but i could've easily eaten 2 plates because i was so so hungry) and soya bean before the long walk back): watched HP & the half-blood prince with chips (welcome to the life of a fatty) before finally heading home at 4pm. the bed looked so inviting when i got back but have forced myself not to take a nap lest i have to endure another sleepless night. which is also one of the reasons why i'm here, actually. yet despite all the sore feet, bad sleep and hot sun, my graduation was really fun and everything i expected it to be and more(: I love my cohort and the class/lvl video (esp my class'!) nearly made me cry, if not for my non-waterproof makeup;)
anw to cut it all, it was a fulfilling and unique experience. i'll def miss the people who've made my school life so enjoyable and surprising(: thank you! you guys rock!! :D
and now, i have a long (not really, though) holiday ahead of me with no nagging thoughts of unfinished hw!!!

managed to find a moment of free time! and anyway i think i owe mel one (or 2) haha. so yes as she mentioned, she very kindly attended mass with me even though:
1. i told her not to wear shorts but she still did
2. she was late
3. she kept laughing
yeah i think that's about it :P man it's been ages since i was here...haha anyway, school's been way busy as usual but at least this term seems better than last term! despite nationals and everything (which were rly tiring and weary-outy), i still managed to get fairly decent grades heh.
ok besides that, i've been growing sideways due to no more trg!!! feel like a lump though haha. although i should rly get used to it since it'll only get worse once term 3 rolls around...sigh.
oops gtg! but anw THANKS MEL (: for everything you've done etc etc. i rly appreciate it. all the best for uni! :D

CNY~
sometimes idk why i still keep this blog. but it's a time-killer (not that i have time to kill). anw school's been way hectic as usual, but we've been taking pictures! and there was this inter-class vid thing where they made me look like some money-obsessed kid! so embarrassing. and like in the vid, i'm "MARY"!!!!!! D:<>
cny's just round the corner (2 days away) and i'm so excited!! but it seems that no one else is): haha aiyah maybe i'm just like super china or something>:) oh and ___ (cannot say later you all freeload off her) spent OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS on cny clothes. sigh. i don't even spend like...a hundred? haha. but then again, i dont buy like 10 tops;)
got lots to update on but too much to write so i'll just talk about today. we had cny celebrations and i actually understood the chinese mass(: then lessons as per normal): bio spa was spent measuring shrimps...(sigh) and cca was just games. training was way tiring cause i was already so drop-dead tired but still dragged myself to train..but lo and behold!!!! (haha old phrase!) my sprint was actually not bad! haha anyway just glad it's over. OH and i bought a pick-up line! from the lit wing. the line is obviously un-usable but i like their chop(: and did i mention today everyone started handing out goodies for V-day? haha i totally forgot about it so was quite a pleasant surprise to find my desk littered with goodies(: not much for ol' sagbag leeyin cause she was in malay-land and no one wanted to give her food that would just rot away in class...>:D except noobs like ali bab. who gave her chocolate that she herself didnt want. haha! we were gonna take a picture of her empty desk and send it to her but then we decided she wasnt worth the effort;)
lunch was fun with jeanette, yan lin and vanessa. we had rojak and yam cake at the coffeeshop and just had our fun(: recess was fun too cause we had a 50min break and we spent almost all of it lying on the ground taking pictures. then had my bread, mochi (!!!:D) and jeanette's brownie for recess. i'm bound to explode into obesity before cny then i cant eat any cny goodies):
haha anw this blog is -clearly- dead so i dont understand why i'm posting! but since it's midnight i'm gonna go off.

Zzz...huh?
First week's over!!! never thought i'd last. man skool is rly tiring. haha by wed i was already like clinging on...can't believe i made it. so you can see my unlimited strength>:)
So we got a new form t. and a new timetable (duh). where we have fewer periods of chinese. haha. and there's some Maths Club thing that almost the whole class joined. well. it's like i got maths from 1.10 - 3.40 and you still want me to stay back for more maths till 5pm?! i'll totally collapse. so the smart and efficient me told loser leebin to give me the test paper after she's done with it. ...ok i bet no one gets what i'm saying. so just like...pretend you didnt read that(; srsly my brain is fried from studying after a break! cant think straight.
anyway in short, skool is tough but i get by with my iPod (listenin' to Obsessed every morning haha) and my kiddy rings (which leebin secretly wants to buy) and my great sense of humour (admit it!) and my fist fights with Da Wimpy Kid. omg like we fight EVERYDAY. even though she's so weak it's not even rly fighting haha.
btw did i mention the canteen is way overcrowded? and that the toilet is so super tiny i can barely get in and out of the cubicles. like srsly were they designed for anorexic people?? cause i totally can't fit. haha. or maybe it's all that weight i put on over the hols...wtv the case, i hope that gives me some motivation to slim down>:) then at least all is not lost(:
wow this was meant to be a short post but it never turns out that way. haha ooh o lvl results are out on mon, tgt with the chinese results for the hcl kids in my lvl!!! can you believe everyone expects a A1 average for CHINESE??! thats like...impossible. haha. but wtv it is, i dont get to be there!!! ): apparently karyn and i have to stay in class and have english. which is rly unfair. but so is life. so.
CCA Fair tmr!! which means i gtg catch some winks now before i jet off to school at 7am): oh the sec 1s are having their camp!!! so kool so kool(; stupid hillary was like some chinawoman holding a umbrella in the canteen and wearing a Grim & Evil sort of mask. which she claims is for "scaring the sec 1s". even though it was 3 in the afternoon. and she had a watergun (which she squirted at me). i mean c'mon how nerdy can you get?? HAHA(: if the sec1s are freaked out by that getup, they should totally see her real life>:) waaay worse haha.
oh damn it's rly late now. have fun kids! no wait. suffer with me! >:)
p.s have i mentioned how wimpy the Wimpy Kid is?

SKOOL. STARTS. TOMORROW.
TOMORROW, i am SEC 4!!!!!!!!! GAG!!! how many times have i heard, "sec 4s stay back", "sec4s have a test let them leave first..." ?!?!?!?! countless! and how many times have i heard, "sec 4s your o lvls are in ___mths" GAG!!! when i was p6, i used to think that despite being the oldest, i was only the oldest in the primary side. and i'd think that only when i'm sec 4 can i say that i'm the boss of the school. AND NOW I AM!!!! the boss of the school, i mean. I AM THE BOSS.
wow. this is surreal man. anw i told some council kids to tell us a joke over the PA system every morning to KEEP THE STRESS AT BAY. haha otherwise we'll go mad. esp since i'm surrounded by 4F and 4D!! plus now with 4P next to us, we can't be late for chinese anymore. great): and every EC kid can see how stupid we are when we take our oral pract): what a exciting year ahead eh.
anyway spent new year's eve watching the countdown!! haha it's like tradition. and i bought a new trg suit yay(: guess what? christine has it too!!! and she went and bought a zara top that i have. so now we have like same 1. hairbands (swim) 2. tank tops 3. trg suits. and coincidentally, they ALL happen to be BLUE! my fav colour!!:D
new year's was spent relaxing. and the bbq with the trg kids(: was quite fun, got to play all the games i've missed like hide and seek, catching etc. and swinging on swings. ultimate fav(: haven't sat on a swing for ages!! anw got home real late, like 11.30pm? and then on sat i went to cut my hair like the cliche kid that i am haha. what la i'm so sch-rule-abiding, i dont wanna hear, "fringe too long" on my first day!!
so today's the last of my holidays. i'm gonna spend it relaxing cause i've got a whole year of troubles, stress, tests and crazy things lined up. seeyou guys tmr!!! lets bash up 2010!>:) which reminds me our lvl shirt should rly be GREEN AND MEAN. with ripoff sleeves. haha! cause we're tough! and buff! (ok ew) haha wtv, have fun kids!!!

Santa Baby
I love that song! (see title) haha anyhoo christmas was a blast as usual(: xmas eve had dinner at dad's side then xmas day at mom's. legs were broken from land trg on wed so was limping like a cripple): anyway it was real fun took lotsa pictures and ate lotsa food and words can't describe it. haha it's like just so warm and fuzzy and stuff to just come tgt as a family yknw? wtv the case, it was waaay fun:D got quite good prezzies this yr too haha. oh and mass in the morning always puts me in the mood for christmas!(: oh and did i mention i came home with a christmas hat too??(: haha idk why no one else seems to be intrsted in it. i wore it the whole night!!:D okay let the pictures do the talking(:
